Description:
SearchApp is a Mac OS X
freeware application that allows users to easily search any search engine they need
without having to type the url into a browser. You merely type your search terms into the small window and
hit search. There is a
drop-down menu that lists the possible search engines, and an editor to add your own. It comes pre-configured for
Google, Yahoo, eBay, Webster, UPS, and FedEx, but you can add as many as you want for your intranet or whatever. Best of all, it's free.
Features:
-
Jaguar and Panther compatible.
-
Search site editor to add any search engine you want
-
Remembers last search engine used.
-
Useless transparent window preference.
-
Great compliment to LaunchBar.

minimum of Mac OS X v10.2 or higher. SearchApp will may function with older
versions of the OS, but it has not been tested.
